Pricing & How It Works

Here’s everything you need to know about bringing home a Blueberry Brook puppy, from price to pickup day.

How much are your puppies?

Our puppies are $3,500 to $5,000, depending on things like size, sex, age and pedigree. We also offer optional leash training and crate training. Call or text 916-250-8537 for the price of a specific puppy.

How do reservations work?

When it’s your turn on the reservation list, you get first pick of every following litter until you find the perfect puppy. We typically have litters every month or every other month.

To help you choose, we send several clear pictures and videos of each litter and its parents. You make a tentative pick while the puppies are young, and once they’re five or six weeks old you can come visit. Whether you can hold them depends on their age and whether they’ve had their shots.

If your puppy isn’t turning out quite how you pictured as it grows, you’re welcome to switch to a puppy from another litter. And if you reach the top of the list but aren’t ready yet, you can stay at the top and take first pick of a later litter.

How much is the deposit, and is it refundable?

We ask for a deposit of $500 to $1,000 to hold your spot on the list, and it goes toward your puppy’s total price. The deposit is refundable up until you’ve chosen your puppy. After that it isn’t refundable, but you can transfer it to a different puppy or to a later time. The deposit is only due after we’ve talked and we both decide to move forward.

Can I visit, or do you deliver?

We encourage everyone to come to our home in Roseville to meet their puppy in person. No deposit is needed to visit. We understand that some people can’t travel easily, especially seniors, so we also offer delivery on an as-needed basis. Just ask.

When do puppies go home?

Puppies usually start going home at 12 weeks. They go home vet checked and up to date on vaccines and deworming/de-parasite treatment, with their health records, AKC papers (for our purebred puppies), a starter kit and our one-year health guarantee against major congenital and genetic defects. All of our parent dogs are screened for genetic issues.

Do you have older puppies?

Sometimes. Occasionally we keep a puppy as a possible future breeder and it turns out not to be the right fit, for example because it isn’t big enough, and sometimes we simply have older puppies. Ask us what’s available.

Are tails docked and dewclaws removed?

Dewclaws are removed for safety. Tails are usually docked unless you request otherwise, and sometimes we keep natural tails.
